BALTIMORE – ������Ƶ Homecoming 2024 kicks off February 18, 2024, and extends until February 25, 2024. We welcome all to join us in celebrating 124 years of Coppin State history, honoring the community we have built, and instilling pride in Eagle Nation through active engagement of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of our illustrious institution.

Homecoming Theme

Our 2024 Homecoming theme is The Rebirth: Born to BE MORE, an extension of our historic BE MORE Capital Campaign, the largest multi-year fundraising initiative in Coppin history. The BE MORE Capital Campaign will permanently transform the university and surrounding community. With Coppin's most aspiring goal ever - to raise $25 million by 2025 - this is a pivotal moment for ������Ƶ.

The BE MORE Capital Campaign aligns with trailblazer and namesake Fanny Jackson Coppin’s deep conviction that she was entrusted to ensure her race was “crowned with strength and dignity and adorned with the enduring grace of intellectual attainments”.

The BE MORE Capital Campaign will build the capacity and infrastructure of the university, yielding investments in the following strategic priorities and creating a ripple effect in our communities:

    o Student Achievement and Retention

    o Academic Excellence

    o Top-Tier Research

    o Elevate Eagle Athletics

    o Grow our Endowment

While the campaign has been in its silent phase since 2021, the public launch of Coppin’s BE MORE Capital Campaign provides an opportunity to highlight and celebrate Coppin’s bright future and reemergence after the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. We invite everyone in Baltimore and beyond to BE MORE for Coppin and experience ������Ƶ for themselves.

There are nearly two dozen events scheduled during Coppin State Homecoming Week 2024. All are welcome to enjoy food and fun, celebrate Coppin’s history, community, and global impact.

● State of the University Address 
February 22 | 12 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. | James Weldon Johnson Auditorium 
������Ƶ President Anthony L. Jenkins will deliver the State of the University address. Find out what accomplishments have been recently made with insight into the trajectory of ������Ƶ for 2024 and beyond. Stream Live 
 
● Homecoming Concert  
February 22 | 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. | James Weldon Johnson Auditorium 
CSU's Homecoming Concert is being held on Thursday, February 22, 2024! Featuring Babyface Ray, YBS Skola, YG Teck, VickeeLo. Sounds by DJ Foqus. Hosted by James Young, IV and Doye.

● Step Show 
February 23 | 7:00 p.m. | James Weldon Johnson Auditorium  
You do not want to miss the Homecoming Step Show "Stepping Through the Decades".

● Hall of Fame Breakfast 
February 24 | 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. | Tawes Building, 2nd Floor Ballroom
Join us as we recognize and induct the next group of Athletic Hall of Famers for ������Ƶ. (). Come celebrate some of the best to represent Coppin State Athletics. Tickets are $55. Tickets required. 

● Homecoming Tailgate 
February 24 | 12 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Lot F and Residential Quad  
Alumni tailgate ahead of the Coppin Men’s and Women’s Basketball facing Norfolk State University. Calling all Coppin alumni! Call your crew and join us for food, games, and fun! Free to attend. Parking is $5 all day. RSVP requested. 

● Coppin State Women's Basketball vs. Norfolk State University  
February 24 | 2:00 p.m. | Physical Education Complex Arena  
Join Eagle Nation in cheering on Coppin State Women’s Basketball against Norfolk State University. Floor seats are sold out for this event. Tickets Required. 

● Coppin State Men's Basketball vs. Norfolk State University  
February 24 | 4:00 p.m. | Physical Education Complex Arena  
Join Eagle Nation in cheering on Coppin State Men’s Basketball against Howard University. Floor seats are sold out for this event. Tickets Required. 

● Homecoming Jazz Brunch  
February 25 | 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Tawes Ballroom  
Enjoy a plentiful spread of brunch favorites while the soothing sounds of Chanel Marie serve as the perfect soundtrack to your Sunday afternoon. Tickets are $55. Purchase Tickets to Attend.
